Note: As part of our scam-prevention efforts, all ads will be screened by Who's Ya Doggy staff before being posted. Any ad which we have reason to suspect may not be genuine will not be accepted, and no negotiation will be entered into. Ads which are accepted will usually go live on the same day, though may take several days, depending on availability of our volunteer staff for this free service.

We apologise if from time to time we mistakenly reject a genuine ad, but trust that you understand the requirement for this policy.
Free online Lost & Found service for dogs - Australia & New Zealand

Please beware of unscrupulous advertisers! At Who’s Ya Doggy we do our best to screen out advertisements which appear not to be genuine, but we cannot be certain. Please take care when:

  • Responding to people who claim to have found your dog. Check them out carefully and do NOT send money to have them transport your dog to you!!! Organise your own collection and transport.

  • Responding to people who claim that the dog you have found belongs to them. Make sure that they can describe physical details about the dog which only the owner would know. NEVER pay money to transport a dog back to the owners, and NEVER ask owners to give you money; always make sure that the owners organise their own collection. If you have a local no-kill dog shelter it may be better to ask them to help. You can still post a Dog Found ad on Who’s Ya Doggy to assist the owners in finding their dog.
